HOW WE ENSURE AUTHENTICITY
Authenticity begins at the source — not after the fact
Rather than buying from unknown sellers and inspecting our way to confidence, we take a different approach: we only source from Japan's most reputable auction houses and licensed recycle networks, where every item is already authenticated before it reaches us. This means authenticity is built into our supply chain from the very beginning.
For added peace of mind on high-value pieces, we use Entrupy — an independent, AI-powered authentication platform that issues a verifiable certificate for each item submitted.

We purchase exclusively through licensed Japanese auction platforms with strict seller vetting, provenance tracking, and established authenticity standards built into every transaction.

Japan has one of the world's most mature and disciplined pre-owned luxury markets. Items are stored carefully, kept in original packaging, and rarely exposed to the wear that is common in other markets. Japanese sellers place enormous value on item condition and honesty — which aligns exactly with our standards.
Christine sources personally and directly from established network and one of Japan's most trusted luxury resale platforms — as well as licensed auction houses and vetted private sellers across Japan's leading luxury markets. Every sourcing trip is selective — we decline far more than we accept.

Transparency on how we work
How do you guarantee authenticity if you don't inspect items yourself?
Our authenticity guarantee starts at the point of purchase. We source exclusively from reputable Japanese auction houses and licensed partners — where items are pre-screened before they reach us. For high-value pieces, we additionally use Entrupy (for a fee), an internationally recognised AI-powered platform that issues an independent certificate of authenticity. An Entrupy certificate can be requested at checkout or on enquiry.
What if I'm still unsure about an item?
Contact us before you buy. We will provide additional photos, measurements, or video walkthroughs of any item. We would rather answer ten questions than have one unhappy customer.
